Protests erupt outside Kasba Police station as 3 arrested in alleged Kolkata college gang rape
Posters accusing Bengal Education Minister Bratya Basu of being a “wanted criminal” were found near his residence in the Kalindi area, close to Kalindi Bhartika Market. The posters claim that Basu was involved in an incident where several students of Jadavpur University were run over by a car, with the minister allegedly fleeing the scene. The message urges anyone who spots him to report to the local police station. The posters are signed with the acronym "SFI" (Students Federation of India). Local police have launched an investigation into the incident and are working to identify those responsible for putting up the posters. No official statement has been released by Bratya Basu regarding the claims.
